Welcome to RollingSeries (rollingseries.com). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. What RollingSeries is
RollingSeries is a free directory of recurring car meets and events, with photos contributed by the community. We’re based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
2. Accounts
You can browse without an account. To upload photos or contribute content you’ll need to create an account with a valid email address. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Don’t share credentials or impersonate anyone.
3. Your contributions
When you upload photos or submit information about an event or series, you confirm that:
- You took the photos yourself, or have permission from the photographer.
- You have the right to share the content publicly.
- The content doesn’t violate anyone’s privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.
- The content isn’t unlawful, harassing, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate.
You keep ownership of your photos. By uploading, you grant RollingSeries a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, resize, and credit your work on the site and in related promotional contexts (for example, social shares of pages that include your photo). You can ask us to remove your work at any time by emailing info@rollingseries.com.
4. AI-assisted captions
We use a third-party AI service (currently OpenAI) to generate alt text and short captions for uploaded photos. These are reviewed before publication when generated for new contributors. You can edit your own captions on the My Contributions page while they’re pending.
5. Moderation
We may edit, remove, or refuse to publish any submission for any reason, including poor quality, irrelevance, duplicates, or rule violations. We aim to be reasonable; we’re not obligated to publish everything submitted.
6. Event information
Event listings are provided as-is. Times, locations, and details can change without notice. Confirm with the organizer before traveling. RollingSeries is not the organizer of listed events unless explicitly stated.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- Scrape the site or its API at scale without permission.
- Upload malware or attempt to break, probe, or overload the site.
- Use RollingSeries to harass, dox, or threaten anyone.
- Submit spam, advertising, or content unrelated to car events.
8. Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Car meets carry inherent risks (driving, weather, crowds, mechanical issues). You attend at your own risk. RollingSeries is not responsible for anything that happens at a listed event.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, RollingSeries and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Total liability for any claim is limited to USD $100.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA. Disputes are handled in courts located in Hamilton County, Tennessee.
