Contributor Agreement
Last updated: May 15, 2026
This is the deal between you and RollingSeries when you upload photos. It is meant to be readable. If something here is not clear, email info@rollingseries.com.
1. You own your photos
You keep full copyright on every photo you upload. Nothing here transfers ownership. You can post the same photos anywhere else you want, sell prints, license them to a magazine, none of that is affected.
2. What you let us do
By uploading, you grant RollingSeries a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
- Display your photos on RollingSeries (rollingseries.com and any short-URL or subdomain we operate).
- Resize, compress, and reformat them as needed to make the site work (thumbnails, social cards, mobile sizes).
- Use them in RollingSeries social posts (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, etc.) that link back to RollingSeries, with credit.
This license lasts as long as your photos are on the site. It ends when you remove them (see Section 4).
3. What we will not do
We will not sell, license, or otherwise commercialize your individual photos. No print sales, no stock licensing, no resale to publications, without a separate written agreement with you.
We may sell ad or sponsor placements on event and series pages. Those are about the event, not your specific photos, and they do not grant the sponsor any rights to your work.
4. Removing your photos
You can ask us to remove any or all of your photos at any time. Email info@rollingseries.com or use the contact form. We will delete them within a reasonable time, usually within a few days.
If removing your photos leaves an event with no photos at all, we may unpublish that event page until another contributor uploads to it. This is not punishment, it just keeps empty event pages out of the archive.
5. What you are telling us
By uploading, you are confirming that:
- You took the photo, or you have the right to share it.
- You are not violating anyone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy.
- The photo is from the event you are attaching it to.
If we get a credible takedown request from someone claiming a photo is not yours, we will remove it and contact you.
6. Credit and attribution
We display credit on every photo using the Instagram handle you provided at signup (or a custom credit you set on your profile). If you want your credit changed or removed, update it on your profile page or email us.
7. Changes to this agreement
If we materially change this agreement, we will email contributors before the change takes effect. Continuing to upload after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you can remove your photos under Section 4.
8. Disputes
Any disputes get resolved under the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA. We would rather just talk it out first, email info@rollingseries.com.
